My Potential is led by Occupational Therapist Shai Stanley, who has over 10 years of experience working with children across a range of developmental needs.

Shai takes a child-centred approach to therapy, recognising that every child is unique, with their own strengths, interests, challenges and goals.

ALL SERVICES

  • Paediatric Occupational Therapy focuses on enhancing children’s developmental skills and independence. Paediatric OTs work closely with children to address challenges related to fine motor skills, gross motor skills, sensory processing, emotional regulation, social skills, and more.

  • If you or anyone supporting your child’s health or education (e.g. teacher, speech pathologist, doctor, paediatrician) is concerned about your child’s development or they are struggling with their daily activities, occupational therapy sessions may be able to help them.

    ‘Daily activities’ can range from focusing & learning at school, tying their shoelaces, making friends, using cutlery, handwriting, toileting, eating dinner — any part of their daily life.

  • Your child does not need to have NDIS funding or a formal diagnosis to receive OT support.

    We are not currently a registered NDIS provider and will only accept self-managed and plan-managed NDIS plans.

    Privately funded clients are also welcome (please note My Potential is not registered for Medicare Enhanced Care Plan/Chronic Disease Management Plan)

  • The cost of therapy sessions can vary depending on the duration and location of each session.  Our fees are in accordance with the NDIS guidelines and are based on the hourly rate of $193.99.

    During the client intake process, Shai can discuss specific costing with you. A breakdown of our therapy costs will also be provided in the service agreements for new clients.

  • No referral needed! If you feel that your child would benefit from occupational therapy you can contact Shai via phone, email or by filling in the online referral form .
